Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, implementation, and deployment of software solutions
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Design and ship high volumes of code with attention to performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, availability, and testability
- Maintain understanding of latest technologies and leverage them to improve products and services
- Identify opportunities for reuse by developing libraries, APIs, and shared services
- Assist in onboarding and ramp-up of new engineers
- Contribute towards the definition of product and technical roadmaps
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years (4+ preferred) of software engineering experience
- Experience with Git and frontend development
- Proven track record of developing large-scale highly available services and systems in JavaScript and HTML
- Experience with web development/design
- Experience with client/server architectures
Preferred Experience:
- Experience developing and consuming Web Services APIs (JSON / XML / RPC)
- Experience with Python and Java
- Experience with Kotlin and RESTful APIs
- Working knowledge of build systems, databases, and Linux-based infrastructures
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Knowledge of architectural models and technology stacks for highly scalable web applications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
- Experience developing mobile applications (plus)
The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $88.46 to $88.46/hr Zone One in the San Francisco Bay Area and the New York Metro, $88.46 to $88.46/hr in the state of Washington and the rest of California and New York Zone Two, and $88.46 to $88.46 in Colorado Zone Four and in any state not already listed, the hourly pay range is $88.46 to $88.46 Zone Four Minimum – Zone Two Max. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
