TITLE: GIS Analyst (Engineering)
LOCATION: Atlanta, Ga.
From 02/02/2026 to 02/02/2027
- Perform and support the creation and modification of geospatial data for client systems.
- Analyze inventory data including counts, mileage, and measurements.
- Prepare and assemble geospatial data supporting Positive Train Control (PTC) files.
- Interpret track geometrics and feature placement information from field data.
- Conduct quality control checks on geospatial data change sets.
- Use GIS software tools to perform topology corrections and geometric modifications.
- Collaborate with other groups and departments to meet enterprise GIS goals.
- Assist the Sr. Geospatial Data Analyst with GIS responsibilities as needed.
- Utilize GIS technology to generate value and identify cost savings.
- Experience with advanced GIS software.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate decision-making skills.
- Intermediate project management skills.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Major in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $30.00 to $40.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
