Human Resources Generalist

Atlanta, GA-Onsite

Full Time, Direct Hire

Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist (HRG) will provide comprehensive HR support across all of our client’s locations. This role is responsible for executing key HR functions including employee relations, compliance, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration. The HRG will report to the Human Resources Manager and collaborate with department leaders to ensure HR practices align with company goals and values.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Assist with employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers on performance and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate and support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and claims.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support performance management processes including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
  • Participate in audits and reporting related to HR compliance and metrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices (ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
  • The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision.

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k
