TITLE: Localization QA

LOCATION: Cupertino, CA (will start 5 days on-site, then move to hybrid)

ANTICIPATED DURATION: 9 months

Responsibilities:
 

  • Coordinate localization QA efforts with internal teams and vendors
  • Create QA plans and support QA efforts in the localization lab.
  • Fix bugs and ensure the delivery of high-quality localized products in multiple languages.
  • Communicate status and raise issues effectively to management.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors, Localization Project Managers, lab operations, and language leads.
  • Support localization projects to meet aggressive delivery schedules.



Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of Localization Workflows, Software Development, and Software QA.
  • Experience working with content management databases and localization tools.
  • Proven record of localization project management, testing, and bug tracking.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a global team environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects within tight timeframes.
  • High level of focus and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize key deliverables and blockers.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to rapidly changing situations.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.



Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working on iOS, macOS, and other platforms; familiarity with Apple products and services is desired
  • Experience with scripting in Python and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Native-level fluency in one or more languages besides English is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in localization or QA.


The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55.00 to $61.94 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
