TITLE: Marketing Manager
LOCATION: San Francisco, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Drive the product marketing strategy, informing internal and external stakeholders on marketing opportunities.
- Provide market context and key insights on products and features.
- Drive decisions and help form guiding principles for launch and growth of product features and services.
- Educate marketers, support content strategy, and run medium to large-scale campaigns.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive education, engagement, and product adoption using various channels.
- Understand detailed insights and big picture implications to solve problems.
- Develop industry or product landscape knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
- Act as a subject matter expert on product(s) or feature(s) to partners across teams.
- Drive market analysis and provide insights on industry trends.
- Develop marketing plans for regional or functional teams, review portfolios, and define positioning plans.
- Develop strategies for product marketing content across channels.
- Define, collect, and track product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Validate market size and opportunity regarding active users, revenue, market size, sales, growth, and profit.
- Collaborate with teams to build supporting rationales, hypotheses, and visions.
- Develop product positioning and bring products to market.
- Create and execute go-to-market plans and messaging.
- Develop user insights to incorporate user voice into product development and marketing.
- Provide feedback on user experience and promote user engagement.
- Drive product brand positioning, value propositions, and messaging strategy.
- Create marketing content aligned with product strategy.
- Manage research needs, scope, and guide user research efforts.
- Manage campaigns, assets, communications, and programs to meet user needs and team objectives.
- Analyze and optimize campaign performance and determine channels for user engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing across fields such as growth, product marketing, brand marketing, or social.
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Proficiency in product positioning, data analysis, consumer behavior, situational leadership, campaign management, marketing briefs, client/partner management, brand management, and industry knowledge.
- Skills in storytelling and go-to-market activities.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $119.32 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
