Optime/Anesthesia EPIC Analyst
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Epic-certified professional with strong application analysis, design, and troubleshooting expertise. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of post-certification experience and a solid understanding of healthcare workflows to support Epic application configuration and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:

Configure Epic applications (OpTime and Anesthesia) to meet organizational and business requirements.

Translate business needs into technical specifications and implement solutions accordingly.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design system workflows.

Develop and execute test plans for configuration validation; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
-
Analyze workflows, data collection, reporting needs, and related technical elements to optimize system use.
-
Document design and configuration decisions for internal reference.
-
Evaluate and test new software releases; manage system updates and communicate changes to users prior to deployment.

Provide post-deployment support by addressing user inquiries and making necessary adjustments.
-
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
-
Epic Certification in OpTime and Anesthesia, held for at least 3 years.

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Epic configuration and application implementation experience post-certification.

Proven expertise in healthcare information systems and detailed workflow analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Additional Epic certifications (e.g., Orders, Ambulatory, Order Transmittal).

Experience with nursing, emergency department, and operating room workflows.

Strong understanding of Epic data structures and interpretation of clinical data hierarchies.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Business, or related field (preferred).

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $80.00 to $90.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
