TITLE: Owned Social Strategist
LOCATION: Culver City, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 03/16/2026 to 03/16/2027
Responsibilities:
- Develop social-first strategy, concepts, campaigns, and programs that support social channels.
- Lead social briefings for campaigns, formats, and initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute integrated campaigns and projects on social.
- Evangelize social best practices to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate thought leadership on social trends, ideas, and strategies for marketing moments.
- Provide hands-on support for programming and publishing across owned social channels.
- Manage agency relationships.
- On-call nights and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in digital/social marketing in the social media space.
- 3+ years managing agencies and vendors.
- Experience working directly with creators, artists, and external partners on social marketing efforts.
- Experience managing a brand social strategy reliant on user-generated content.
- Ability to analyze data to inform strategic decisions, including audience insights and platform trends.
- Experience working in a multifaceted environment.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nimbly and navigate ambiguity.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with high-profile talent on high-stakes projects.
- Experience building engaged social media communities.
Preferred Experience:
- Managing social media channels for creative software tools and working with creators in audio and video verticals.
- Knowledge of the creator economy.
- Being a futuristic thinker and creative problem-solver.
- Being tuned into cultural trends and conversations in various domains.
- Understanding of media, technology, and social landscape changes.
- Collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Demonstrates professionalism, work ethic, and effective communication skills.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $0.00 to $70.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
