TITLE: Program Manager
LOCATION: Mountain View, CA (on-site Tuesday – Thursday)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months


As a Program Manager, you drive multiple programs reaching beyond your immediate team and organization. You proactively identify, organize, and drive program activities and stakeholders to successfully deliver business, operational, and technical improvements. You scope, phase, and drive ambiguous cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges including delivering downstream change management, alongside your stakeholder team. You ensure alignment of senior cross-functional and cross-organizational stakeholders. You have advanced knowledge of the domain of your program.
  • Program Management: Drive the creation, launch, and continuous improvement of various operational programs within the Scaled Evals team.
  • Process Standardization: Lead the effort to clean up unused evaluation templates and standardize process documentation, ensuring all materials are current, clear, and consistent.
  • Data & Insights: Analyze trends and gather insights from Furball bugs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Feature Management: Manage the collection and implementation of internal content platform feature requests, acting as the primary point of contact between user teams and development.
  • Intake Streamlining: Consolidate and refine team intake processes to create a more efficient and unified workflow
Program Manager Responsibilities:
  • Across multiple teams, independently define, drive, and own program charter(s) that address scope, and timeline, OKRs, resourcing and risks/dependencies of moderately complex programs. Translate ambiguous program goals into clear and measurable objectives/milestones. Determine the effective level of program management required of an initiative. Create project plans that break down a project into discrete phases aligned to the needs of stakeholders, include risks/dependencies and support proactive identification of program constraints.
  • Independently determine program phasing and metrics that effectively address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship. Optimize regular checkpoints and metrics dashboards. Ensure stakeholders are aligned on rationale for program pivots.
  • Independently design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key partner communications. Articulately represent the program across touchpoints.
  • Anticipate change management requirements. Independently develop change management rollout plans for programs including impact analysis. Proactively drive pivots requiring change management, monitor progress of change management rollout, and resolve misalignments. Define future change management needs.
  • Effectively build trusted relationships with senior program stakeholders to proactively enable effective decision making. Resolve prioritization misalignments with stakeholders. Proactively manage program escalations.
  • Independently determine and collect data required to govern programs and effectively drive stakeholder decision-making. Independently maintain project trackers and status reports. Identify and execute program tasks, including proactively managing dependencies, while incorporating Product Excellence values, Product Inclusion, and brand trust and reputation. Create automated processes to enhance velocity and monitoring. Define program governance structure by determining effective management of mitigations, postmortems, and escalation reports. drive effective program stakeholder meetings.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Program Management role, with a focus on operational improvement and process management
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a track record of successfully managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in identifying trends and using data to inform program strategy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a tech or data-focused environment is highly preferred.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $111.80 to $130.51 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
