Title: Project Manager
Location: Rosemead, CA
Duration: 6 months

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of progressive project management experience, including leading traditional (Waterfall) and hybrid methodologies
• Strong knowledge of project governance, change control, and approval processes
• Proven ability to manage procurement, vendor contracting, and third-party delivery components
• Skilled in applying Agile/Scrum practices within traditional or hybrid project frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience in developing business plans, objectives, and organizational initiatives
• Proficiency with project management tools, dashboards, and reporting methodologies

Nice to Have Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• Experience managing HR projects, including change management and employee engagement
• Ability to work with third-party vendors and manage contractual relationships
• Knowledge of metrics tracking and ROI analysis for project value realization

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus
• 5-7 years of experience in project management roles, preferably within HR or organizational development environments

Other Requirements:

• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across various levels of the organization
• Willingness to collaborate with external vendors and manage contractual negotiations
• Capable of managing projects with extended timelines, up to six months or more

Interview Process
2 rounds of interviews.
• Candidates may be asked to prepare and deliver a 15–20-minute presentation (3–5 slides) presenting a project of their choosing (preferably an HR‑related initiative). The presentation should outline a project kickoff or charter and demonstrate experience with traditional, phase‑based project delivery, including planning, governance, and controls, as well as how Agile practices would be incorporated in a hybrid delivery environment.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $80.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
