TITLE: Quality Assurance Analysis

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (100% Remote)

ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 01/26/2026 to 01/25/2027


Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 production support for mission-critical applications, platforms, and integrations.
  • Lead incident management activities, including triage, severity determination, and response coordination.
  • Conduct root cause analysis following incidents and outages, documenting findings and corrective actions.
  • Manage case workflows, classification, prioritization, and resolution according to SLAs and OLAs.
  • Coordinate with DevOps, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to resolve issues.
  • Support production environments during maintenance, releases, and emergency fixes.
  • Review and approve releases, deployment plans, and rollback strategies for production readiness.
  • Monitor environments for functionality, availability, and health, using logging and observability tools.
  • Oversee execution of batch jobs and scheduled processes, ensuring timely completion.
  • Track and manage certificate lifecycles and vendor software releases.
  • Report operational metrics, analyze recurring issues, and support capacity planning.
  • Serve as a communication point during incidents, outages, and maintenance, providing updates.
  • Maintain and improve operational procedures, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and documentation.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Production Support, DevOps, or IT Operations.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and supporting live systems.
  • Monitoring system health and managing deployments and rollbacks.
  • Handling incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Employers value this because it demonstrates resilience under pressure and familiarity with complex, distributed environments.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver capable of breaking down issues and troubleshooting effectively.
  • Experience with writing functional and non-functional test cases, executing tests, and using automation tools.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to document incidents, resolutions, and develop operational guides.
  • Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) frameworks for incident, change, and problem management.


Preferred Experience:

  • Software testing / quality assurance certification.
  • Formal training in software quality best practices.
  • Certifications like CTFL, CSTE, CSQA, or CASQ or equivalents.
  • Experience in high-availability or regulated environments (e.g., NERC CIP, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
  • Familiarity with DevOps or SRE practices, focusing on automation, resilience, and observability.
  • ITIL certification to demonstrate structured IT service management knowledge.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $52.20 to $66.71 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
