ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 04/06/2026 to 12/31/2026
Responsibilities:
- Support delivery teams by facilitating agile ceremonies and managing best practices around backlog management
- Facilitate and participate in scaled agile events such as cross-team planning and dependency management
- Prepare and facilitate quarterly, release, and sprint planning sessions
- Guide teams in refining feature and story-level work to meet Definition of “Ready”
- Support communication of delivery progress, identify obstacles, and foster continuous improvement
- Engage with stakeholders to remove impediments and promote effective collaboration
- Act as a buffer to minimize disruptions and protect the team environment
- Help teams navigate interpersonal conflicts and promote psychological safety
- Collect and share team metrics to foster transparency and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Working experience with Scrum, Kanban, and Agile scaling frameworks (preferably SAFe)
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in information technology)
- Scrum Master certification or an equivalent professional certification (preferred)
- Residency in the Atlanta, Georgia area
- Willingness to receive constructive feedback and promote growth
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, especially in virtual environments
Preferred Experience:
- Strong Kanban management expertise, including flow-based metrics and backlog optimization
- Effective facilitation and team coaching skills to foster self-organization and continuous improvement
- Experience operating in scaled Agile environments with cross-team planning and dependency management
- Demonstrated systems thinking and delivery discipline through metrics-driven conversations and impediment removal
- Hands-on experience coaching teams through agile transformation, especially shift from traditional Scrum to more design-first models
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $0.00 to $49.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
