Job Title: Senior Product Manager – Core Browse
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite 4 days/week)
Contract Type: W2 Contract (Through January 31, 2026)
Pay Rate: $60–$70/hour (W2)

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of internal platform capabilities that power the Core Browse experience. This role focuses on enabling engineering teams and business stakeholders by delivering high-performance, reliable, and scalable platforms, APIs, and developer tools.

Unlike consumer-facing product roles, this position’s “customers” are primarily internal engineering teams and cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate will think like a platform owner, ensuring that technical excellence directly translates into business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Ownership: Manage the lifecycle of internal platforms, APIs, and developer tools that support the Core Browse experience.

  • API & Microservices Management: Oversee the design, delivery, and maintenance of API products, microservices, and distributed systems, ensuring versioning, compatibility, and reliability.

  • Metrics-Driven Decisions: Define and track technical KPIs such as API response times, error rates, uptime, and cloud infrastructure costs to guide product priorities.

  • Cloud & DevOps Collaboration: Work closely with engineering to optimize cloud infrastructure, reduce operational costs, and ensure scalable performance.

  • Performance & Reliability Focus: Prioritize initiatives that improve system performance, stability, and maintainability, including technical debt reduction.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.

  • Agile Leadership: Lead Agile ceremonies and backlog prioritization for technical teams, ensuring delivery of high-impact infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven technical product management experience with internal platforms, APIs, or enterprise infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API lifecycle management, and distributed systems.

  • Experience with infrastructure-focused KPIs and performance metrics.

  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams to align technical decisions with business goals.

  • Background in B2B or enterprise product environments.

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and cost optimization strategies.

  • Agile/Scrum experience in technical product environments.

Preferred:

  • Experience improving developer experience (DX) through internal tools and APIs.

  • Exposure to GraphQL federation or similar API aggregation methods.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be comfortable making decisions that prioritize technical performance over feature velocity, understanding that fast, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure is the product for internal customers. They will excel at bridging the gap between engineering complexity and strategic business priorities, ensuring that infrastructure improvements drive measurable impact.

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $60.00 to $70.00/hr.  Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
