Senior UX Designer (100% Remote – EST Hours)

Type: W2 Long-Term Contract (Monday–Friday, 9AM–5PM EST)
Location: Remote (U.S.)

Overview

We’re seeking a Senior UX Designer to help lead the redesign of key digital booking experiences for a global hospitality brand. This role offers the opportunity to design end-to-end user flows that impact millions of travelers worldwide — from search to room selection — while helping elevate how the brand showcases its hotels, rates, and loyalty offerings.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Content, and Engineering to deliver thoughtful, data-driven, and human-centered design solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong information architecture expertise, mentorship capabilities, and a forward-thinking perspective on how AI can enhance creativity and design efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UX design initiatives focused on booking flow optimization, including:

  • Redesigning the Search → Quick View → Rooms & Rates experience.

  • Enhancing Rooms & Rates pages with richer hotel and room content.

  • Improving points redemption flows and display logic for loyalty members.

  • Partner with product owners to reimagine rate remerchandising, including:

  • How rates combine with extras and offers.

  • Naming conventions and rate selection logic for clarity and conversion.

  • Ensure brand representation is consistent and meaningful across search and room selection interfaces.

  • Apply data-informed design principles to craft experiences that balance user needs with business objectives.

  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level designers, fostering skill growth and knowledge sharing across the team.

  • Stay current with UX trends, tools, and methodologies — actively sharing best practices and insights.

  • Advocate for and experiment with AI tools and workflows that can enhance ideation, prototyping, and content creation.

  • Collaborate closely with researchers, writers, and developers to deliver accessible, performant, and user-friendly designs.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 6–8+ years of UX design experience with a strong focus on information architecture, interaction design, and data-driven storytelling.

    • Proven experience designing complex booking or transactional flows (travel, hospitality, eCommerce, or similar).

    • Expertise in Figma (or equivalent design tools) with a strong grasp of responsive web and mobile UX patterns.

    • Ability to translate analytics and research insights into actionable design decisions.

    • Strong communicator with experience collaborating in agile or cross-functional environments.

    • Demonstrated success mentoring or guiding design peers.

    • Enthusiasm for exploring and applying AI in the creative process (e.g., ideation, content generation, prototyping).

    • Must be available to work standard Eastern Time hours (9AM–5PM).

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $65.00 to $70.00/hr.  Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
