Senior UX Designer
Product / UX Designer (W2 Contract – Fully Remote through March 2026)
We’re seeking a hands-on Product/UX Designer to help drive a holistic redesign effort spanning multiple customer journeys. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives on thinking end-to-end — from discovery through delivery — and who’s eager to experiment with AI-assisted tools as part of their design workflow.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with product managers and researchers to translate insights into thoughtful design concepts.
- Push beyond screens to shape holistic user journeys and simplify complex flows.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs that bring ideas to life.
- Work within and extend existing design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Present clear rationale for design decisions, grounded in both user needs and business goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment to deliver iterative, high-impact design solutions.
Must-Haves
- Strong design fundamentals across information architecture, user flows, wireframing, and UI polish.
- Proven ability to prototype rapidly and iterate based on feedback.
- Comfort working within established design systems — and evolving them when needed.
- Ability to frame problems, communicate trade-offs, and simplify complex challenges.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Figma Make, Lovable, or similar).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience collaborating alongside consulting partners or cross-agency teams.
- Ability to facilitate lightweight workshops (e.g., journey mapping, prioritization, or “as-is / to-be” sessions).
- Interest in integrating research insights directly into design iteration.
Ideal Candidate
You think holistically about the experience — not just the interface. You can show before-and-after examples that demonstrate your design impact. You communicate clearly, move quickly, and produce crisp artifacts (flows, prototypes, and documentation) that inspire confidence and alignment across teams.
The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $60.00 to $85.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
