Required Skills:
- Proven experience working on political campaigns, public policy initiatives, or similar initiatives with a focus on online engagement.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and their role in political and cultural conversations.
- Ability to track and anticipate high-stakes moments and trending topics rapidly.
- Skilled in creating concise, compelling social communications, including posts, replies, memes, and short-form videos.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret social media metrics, identify trends and outliers, and inform future strategies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of working effectively across teams.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with rapid-response social media strategies during high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of current political and cultural issues influencing online discourse.
- Creative skills in content creation, including video editing or graphic design.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4-7 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or communications—preferably within political, public policy, or advocacy sectors.
- Proven track record of managing social media campaigns and analyzing discourse trends.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to adapt quickly to emerging social issues and trends.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- Experience in project or program management within creative or content-driven settings.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55 – $61/hour (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
