Software Engineer

TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Remote, but must be within 100 miles of Culver City, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop components of various data products such as data pipelines, APIs for data services, tools, and frameworks for business automation.
• Build systems to automate manual processes and increase marketing efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and product, solutions, and analytics teams to understand features, design solutions, and drive end-to-end execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering support during business hours (PST).

Requirements:

• Software engineering experience with Python.
• Knowledge of designing data systems including data lakes, near real-time data processing, and Data Services APIs.
• Extensive experience developing scalable batch processing pipelines with PySpark.
• Experience developing software applications using cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Cloud infrastructure management experience with AWS or GCP.
• Developing services and APIs in Python, Go, or Java.
• Knowledge of developing UI applications.
• Deep understanding of database systems.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $85.00 to $90.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
