Overview
We are hiring multiple Senior Experience Leads (SXLs) to support a large-scale digital modernization effort within a complex enterprise environment. This is a true senior leadership role—designed for experienced design leaders who operate as change agents, not traditional UX Leads.
SXLs will own major experience portfolios and work in close partnership with Product and Engineering to evolve ownership models, accountability, and ways of working across the organization.
This role is ideal for leaders who bring structure to ambiguity, can influence at scale, and know how to help large teams move faster during periods of transformation.
What You’ll Do

Own and lead a major experience portfolio, with accountability for vision, outcomes, and execution quality

Act as a change leader, helping redefine ownership models, operating rhythms, and cross-functional collaboration

Partner deeply with Product and Engineering leadership to align experience strategy with roadmaps and delivery

Bring clarity and structure in ambiguous environments, enabling teams to move decisively through transformation

Set experience direction at an enterprise level, balancing near-term delivery with long-term modernization goals

Influence senior stakeholders during reorgs, operating-model shifts, and modernization initiatives

Elevate experience quality through systems thinking, governance, and scalable design practices
What We’re Looking For

Principal / Experience Design Director–level experience (or equivalent) in large, complex organizations

Proven portfolio ownership with strong cross-functional leadership DNA

Deep, sustained partnership with Product and Engineering teams at scale

Demonstrated success navigating enterprise transformation, reorgs, or modernization initiatives

Ability to create momentum, alignment, and clarity in fast-moving, evolving environments

Enterprise mindset with strong strategic judgment and systems thinking
Nice to Have

Experience in regulated industries (insurance, financial services, healthcare), though not required

Exposure to modern engineering ecosystems, including mobile platforms (iOS/Android) and AI-enabled products

Familiarity with platform-driven environments and data-informed decision making

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $70.00 to $82.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
