TITLE: Sr. Healthcare Data Analyst
LOCATION: Northern California (70% travel in northern California terriory)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 18 month contract
Responsibilities:
  • Gather, clean, and standardize datasets to support healthcare staff.
  • Develop applications related to application data, features, and configuration.
  • Provide quality assurance testing of data and applications.
  • Support workflows with end users from Pharmacy, Lab, Dietary, Nursing, FacOps, Biomed.
  • Set up complex alert trees, manage end user permissions.
  • Train end users on system use and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Strong SQL writing skills.
  • Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and databases.
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Expertise in at least one high-level programming language (preferably Python).
  • Experience with Linux command line and bash scripting.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Comfort with data tools like Excel.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
  • Experience with Docker containers.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and processes.
  • Experience with orchestration tools.
  • Experience with Apache Spark.
  • Additional experience with data administration in applications or tools such as Access or Excel.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulation and policy creation.
  • Experience working with data from multiple healthcare departments and applications.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60 to 65/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
