TITLE: Sr Program Manager
LOCATION: 100% remote
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 03/24/2026 to 04/30/2027 + extensions

Your Impact
The following are expected roles and responsibilities of the IT Program Manager:
- Strategic Alignment
- Ensure the program’s goals align with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Define the program’s vision, roadmap, and intended business outcomes.
- Determine business and technology projects (new or in progress) that support strategic priorities.
- Create communications to executive sponsors and other stakeholders.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Coordinate multiple project managers and workstreams.
- Drive alignment across technology teams, finance, communications, and all business departments impacted by the recommendations.
- Facilitate decision-making and remove cross‑team roadblocks.
- Collaborate with the Business Analysts and ensure scope and requirements are clear.
- Project Management
- Lead the project teams through project planning and execution, serving as the driving force for project activities and ensuring that each team member is aligned with project objectives.
- Identify critical project-related decisions with autonomy by owning the identification, management, resolution of project risks and issues while cultivating a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Provide weekly program and project status reports.
- If appropriate coordinate with other project managers to develop a comprehensive project plan.
- Governance & Controls
- Establish program governance (cadence, reporting, approvals) has been established to ensure adherence.
- Create program level dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
- Maintain standards for quality, risk management, and compliance.
- Stakeholder Management
- Identify and manage all stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with leadership, partners, and impacted teams.
- Prepare executive level and project status updates.
- Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
- Identify cross-project risks and dependencies early.
- Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to identify drive mitigation plans.
- Escalate issues when needed and track resolution.
- Financial Management
- Ensure the program stays within budget and delivers value.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis.
- Track financial performance and resource usage.
- Communication & Change Management
- Partner with change management teams (or lead change efforts themselves).
- Create communication plans, training plans, and rollout strategies.
- Ensure teams are ready to adopt changes and sustain them.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Delivery & Benefits Realization
- Focuses on long-term impact—not just delivery.
- Measure whether expected benefits are achieved.
- Ensure the MSPP IT programs deliver outcomes (e.g., improved efficiency).
- Transition solutions to operations after implementation.
- Tools Adaptability
- The ability to adapt quickly to Workday, Workfront (Adobe)
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree required in Business Management or Administration.
- 12+ years’ experience in driving operational excellence through project management
- Excellent leadership communication skills, solid presentation and oral and written communication skills with proven ability to influence
- Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.
- Ability to work on multiple programs or projects and effectively manage priorities
- Ability to foster good relationships, work independently and in collaboration with technology teams
- Knowledge of fundamental program/project management principles; Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP) or related certification
- Familiarity with PMI Program Management standards
- The ability to use all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Vision
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $79.00 to $86.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
