Systems Engineer
TITLE: Systems Engineer
LOCATION: Duluth/Alpharetta/Johns Creek, GA – onsite
Direct Hire: $110K – 120K
- Build and operate cloud and on-premises systems across Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.
- Administer Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory/Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.
- Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Bicep, ARM, Terraform.
- Deploy and manage monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, application performance, and data pipelines.
- Design, build, test, and deploy SQL database systems.
- Support large virtual server environments and optimize long-running data processing workflows.
- 5–7 years experience in Systems Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure and the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Solid experience with SQL, virtualization, and managing large virtualized environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams.
The compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
