Technical Program Manager
TITLE: Technical Program Manager
LOCATION: Austin, TX
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 04/08/2026 to 06/10/2026
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of programs that may extend beyond your immediate team
- Drive, organize, and manage program activities to support business outcomes
- Develop systems to identify improvements and drive future optimizations, including change management and performance metrics
- Define and independently address cross-functional challenges using program management methodologies
- Monitor and manage programs and stakeholder expectations effectively
- Author program charters that include scope, timeline, OKRs, resourcing, and risks
- Create project plans that break down projects into phases with risks and dependencies
- Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders to enable decision-making
- Optimize team roles and responsibilities within the program
- Manage escalations and triage technical issues across teams
- Assess impact of technical escalations and resolve tooling and process issues supporting engineering
- Develop and execute communication plans tailored to stakeholder types
- Represent the program team in various touchpoints
- Implement change management plans and monitor rollout progress
- Collect data to govern and execute programs, maintaining project trackers and status reports
- Manage program dependencies and incorporate core values into tasks
- Define governance structures, manage mitigations, postmortems, and escalations
- Lead program team meetings and determine program phasing and metrics for continuous improvement
- Establish checkpoints to evaluate improvement metrics and ensure transparency
Requirements:
- Proficiency in team management, communications management, stakeholder management, planning, execution, and governance
- Experience in organizational change management, portfolio management, and continuous improvement
- Strong technical judgment

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $0.00 to $109.31 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
