TITLE: Technology Sourcing & Procurement Specialist
LOCATION: Mountain View, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months
As a Technology Sourcing & Procurement Specialist, you contribute to cross-project and cross-team collaborations of moderate to high complexity and scope, providing significant impact through the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and volume of your work. You are aware of project priorities, define tasks, and coordinate activities and deliverables, exercising independent judgment and discretion. You identify and recommend creative solutions through the evaluation and analysis of data and business needs. You serve as a commercial liaison between suppliers or vendors and internal stakeholders. You contribute to executing procurement/commodity and contract manufacturer strategies that deliver benefits to the client. You work with cross-functional groups to deliver the product roadmap. You are highly proficient in a relevant procurement/commodity domain and possess a full understanding of an area of expertise within the domain. You are responsible for evaluating and managing supplier performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as a commercial liaison between vendors or suppliers and internal stakeholders. Keep key stakeholders informed of issues.
- Negotiate simple contracts with vendors or suppliers within one domain.
- Manage many discrete projects with awareness of value and timing. Actively contribute to development of overall project plans.
- Understand and execute a global product or commodity roadmap.
Additional skills required include:
- Proficiency in Develop technical know-how (Strategic Negotiation)
- Proficiency in Understand our business and policies
- Proficiency in Utilize an analytical approach
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50.00 to $61.16/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
