UX Designer
TITLE: UX Designer
LOCATION: San Francisco, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 3 months
Responsibilities:
- Own outcomes for one mature project, complex program, or emerging area
- Navigate and define scalable and sustainable approaches to solve difficult problems
- Develop and evangelize long-term user experience and product strategy
- Guide momentum of multiple design efforts and provide alternative perspectives
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in UX design principles, user-centered methodologies, design systems, and research tools
- Analyze and anticipate user needs, resolve constraints, and mitigate risks
- Lead implementation of holistic design processes, design systems, or language across teams
- Define user experience/product strategy and explore innovative solutions
- Collaborate with engineers to communicate, negotiate, and influence design intent
- Guide design specifications for implementation
- Use and propose data and metrics to evaluate impact and understand the product ecosystem
- Drive improvements in design based on UX testing and stakeholder input
- Build consensus and gain support for design strategy across stakeholders
- Communicate design approach and address challenges with other designers or stakeholders
- Contribute to project priorities and coordinate resource allocation
- Expand responsibilities within the immediate product team
- Create design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends
- Support stakeholders in achieving KPIs
- Develop innovative solutions to user, product, and business problems
- Anticipate design constraints and communicate rationale
- Drive a holistic design process and design language across teams
- Perform design and testing processes, develop support for design vision
- Guide UX designers in creating concepts or conduct independent research
- Seek research insights to inform design direction
- Apply, adapt, and define UX design frameworks, principles, patterns, and systems
- Visualize ideas through writing and design tools to develop mock-ups or prototypes
- Tailor deliverables based on platform requirements
- Follow writing and design templates, style guides, and accessibility standards
- Propose ideas to improve UX through collaborative analysis of user needs

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $105.67 to $132.94 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
