UX Designer
TITLE: UX Designer
LOCATION: Boulder, CO
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 8 months
Responsibilities:
- Create design concepts such as mock-ups, prototypes, and models for informing product ideation and user research/testing
- Drive contributions to a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products
- Assist in design and testing processes, and generate support for a design vision with partners
- Help create innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems
- Adapt to evolving design constraints and communicate rationale of design choices
- Apply or adapt UX design frameworks, principles, patterns, and systems
- Develop mock-ups or prototypes using standard writing and design tools
- Tailor deliverables to product or platform requirements with minimal guidance
- Follow design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines
- Improve design iteratively based on UX testing and stakeholder input
- Communicate design approach to team members and partners
- Identify challenges and questions related to design
- Use and propose new data and metrics to evaluate product impact
- Collaborate with team members to understand user trends and industry landscape
- Plan and prioritize design work across projects and communicate priorities
- Collaborate with engineers to communicate and influence design intentions
- Manage specifications for implementation
- Develop design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX
- Include a portfolio, website, or relevant link to work in the resume
- Skills in visual design, typography, layout, color, and style
- Knowledge of UX design principles, user-centered methodologies, design systems, and research tools
- Proficiency in product design, systems thinking, data analysis, user behavior, and storytelling
- Experience with product development lifecycle, interactive technology, and UX research methodology
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50.00 to $93.22 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
