Senior UX Designer – Mobile App (Contract)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Contract Type: W2 Contract
Duration: 6+ months (potential extension)
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join the .com product team and play a key role in redesigning a high-traffic mobile app with a mobile-first approach. This is a hands-on design role embedded in a fast-moving product team, focused on creating intuitive, scalable, and engaging mobile experiences that serve millions of customers.
Responsibilities

Lead design efforts for mobile app features, ensuring a seamless, customer-first experience.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to reimagine and modernize the app’s user flows.

Conduct design explorations and create multiple concepts for how to best optimize for mobile use cases.

Leverage the existing design system, while contributing to its evolution when new patterns are needed.

Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback quickly and effectively.

Partner with research and analytics teams to validate designs and inform iterative improvements.
Required Qualifications

5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app design work.

Proven expertise designing for native mobile platforms (iOS and Android).

Skilled in Figma and related design/prototyping tools.

Ability to balance speed and craft—producing quick iterations without sacrificing design quality.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large-scale consumer apps, particularly in retail or e-commerce.

Familiarity with responsive design and how app experiences connect to broader digital ecosystems.

Background in usability testing, A/B testing, or data-informed design practices.

The ideal candidate is a mobile-first thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces iteration, and is motivated to push the mobile app experience forward.
The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $50.00 to $70.00/hr.
