Transfer Agent
TITLE: Transfer Agent
LOCATION: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (on-site 5 days a week)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months with the possibility to extend or convert to a full-time employee
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of work against timeliness, accuracy, and productivity standards.
- Document quality issues, performance measures, and quality improvements for management review.
- Provide information to assist in employee training and feedback.
- Ensure proper application of and compliance with internal and regulatory standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Analyze complex cases requiring high-level analysis and expertise.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of shareholder transactions, including new account setups and maintenance.
- Review shareholder correspondence for content, clarity, grammar, and typographical errors.
- Communicate transaction or reference discrepancies to appropriate parties.
- Resolve quality control issues and maintain standards for volume and accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement, risk-based thinking, and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Good knowledge and understanding of products and services applicable to Mutual Funds.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Experience:
- One to two years of experience in quality analysis and measurement activities or in Mutual Fund operations.
- Good knowledge of productivity and accuracy standards of Mutual Fund operations.
- Proficient in computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment with minimal supervision.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $20.00 to $23.90 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
