Social Content Specialist
Greater Chicago Area (Remote/Hybrid – will work onsite 2 days per week)
W2 3-month contract potential to extend
Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Shoot videos, take photos, and design static graphics aligned with brand guidelines and trends.
- Appear on camera in content production.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure content aligns with brand strategy.
- Stay informed about social media trends, updates, and emerging formats.
- Participate in all stages of content creation from ideation to execution.
- Review performance data to assess and enhance content effectiveness.
- Source and manage content banks of user-generated, employee-generated, and partner content.
- Support the briefing, development, and production of externally sourced content.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in social media content creation.
- Strong skills in graphic design, videography, photography, and video editing (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.).
- Portfolio showcasing social content and creative impact is required.
- Understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Experience with social media management tools (Sprinklr preferred).
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Experience in community management and/or agency background is a bonus.
- CPG experience is highly desirable.
- Personal social presence (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) is preferred.
- Must list geographic location AND Portfolio link on top of resume.

the hourly pay rate range for this position is $25.00 to $26.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
