TITLE: Data Center Analyst
LOCATION: Auburn, AL 
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 05/04/2026 to 09/21/2026

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the data center.
  • Ensure all systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of systems to identify and address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the data center operations team to ensure seamless integration of systems with overall data center operations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead and manage MEP-related projects, including upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare and present project reports and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices to reduce the data center's environmental impact.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in MEP technologies and recommend upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all MEP systems comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures for MEP operations and maintenance activities.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior MEP analysts and technicians.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in BMS systems management, preferably in a data center or similar critical infrastructure environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including HVAC, power distribution, and fire suppression systems.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CMCO, LEED, PMP, or similar are a plus.

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $40.00 to $55.00/hr.  Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
