Role: Project Specialist 3
Join our dynamic team as a Project Specialist 3 and play a pivotal role in managing critical substation programs that drive infrastructure excellence. This challenging yet rewarding position involves scheduling and coordinating over 150 projects, each under $25M, with a focus on complex engineering and construction activities. You'll be at the forefront of project execution, utilizing your expertise in master integrated schedules, work breakdown structures, and earned value management to ensure timely delivery and performance. Required Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of scheduling experience in capital projects or construction, with proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of project controls, schedule management, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating with multiple groups and contractors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio) and SAP.
- Ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and identify delays or risks.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Utility or substation utility experience.
- Construction management background.
- Experience with data analysis and project performance tracking.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, construction management, business, finance, or related fields.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience in project scheduling and management.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed (typically less than once per month).
- Certifications in project management or scheduling are a plus but not mandatory.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $25.00 to $40.41 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
