Join our innovative DMS+ team as a Software Engineer II and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of dealer management services. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to build and enhance core APIs and database structures within a sophisticated AWS environment, delivering high-performance backend solutions that drive our next-generation platform. Your contributions will be vital to maintaining quality standards through technical reviews and seamless cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that complex business needs are translated into reliable, scalable, and efficient systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework for backend development
- Extensive experience designing and optimizing RESTful APIs and database schemas in AWS
- Proven track record of leading or participating in technical code reviews, ensuring best practices and performance standards
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and stakeholder needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within agile teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or Node.js for automation and utility scripting
- Infrastructure as Code expertise, specifically with Terraform for AWS resource management
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks such as xUnit or Moq
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in backend engineering or cloud environments
Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of AWS services and architecture best practices
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and skill development

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $32.50 to $52.50 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
