Job Title: Database Analyst III
Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Database Analyst III and play a pivotal role in enhancing data governance, compliance, and automation within our expansive data ecosystem. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to design and implement sophisticated GRC workflows, develop real-time dashboards, and integrate AI-driven automation to streamline data management processes. Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript
- REST API integration experience
- Strong SQL skills, with experience working across large-scale or columnar data systems
- Expertise in data governance, including data lineage, metadata, policies, and controls
- Knowledge of GDPR and/or DMA compliance standards
- Experience with AI/ML for data classification and tagging
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Slack Workflow Builder, Zapier, or equivalents
- Slack API experience, including bot development and workflows
- Ability to develop dashboards for compliance and governance monitoring
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive accountability across dispersed teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with data catalog platforms
- Familiarity with data access management systems and approval workflows
- Background in distributed storage solutions like HDFS or object storage
- Prior involvement in large-scale, multi-team governance initiatives
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data governance, compliance, or related fields
- Relevant certifications in data management, compliance, or automation are a plus
Other Requirements:
- Onsite presence at 235 Second Street, San Francisco, CA
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the project term from May 25, 2026, to September 30, 2026
- Willingness to engage in hands-on technical development and cross-functional collaboration

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $51.94 to $66.94 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
