Artist Curaton Operations Lead
W2 12-month contract, potential to extend
3 days onsite in Cupertino CA

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or technical product roles involving AI/ML workflows
  • Proven track record translating operational and product challenges into ML requirements
  • Experience evaluating model outputs, designing evaluation sets, quality metrics, and error analysis
  • Skilled in designing review/annotation tools that incorporate AI-generated insights
  • Strong analytical skills, including familiarity with sampling, hypothesis testing, and statistical measurement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of producing executive-ready narratives and presentations
  • Ability to lead ambiguous initiatives independently with minimal supervision
  • Technical fluency in system design, data pipelines, MLOps, and deployment challenges of AI/ML solutions

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in the music industry, specifically with music metadata or artist-facing products
  • Familiarity with entity resolution, disambiguation, or artist identity management
  • Exposure to large language models (LLMs), prompt evaluation, and agentic automation
  • Cross-cultural project management experience and collaboration with international stakeholders
  • Ability to query data using SQL or similar tools
  • Experience managing vendor or outsourced review teams
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau
  • Passion for music and curiosity about industry systems and innovations

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A background in music data, metadata, or related fields is desirable
  • Prior experience leading projects that involve AI/ML integration in content operations

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $97.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
