Are you passionate about the dynamic worlds of apps and video games across all platforms—mobile, PC, console, and VR? We’re seeking a talented and enthusiastic Content Developer to become the ultimate expert in app and gameplay content, bridging the gap between innovative gameplay experiences and compelling visual storytelling. In this pivotal role, you will help shape how audiences perceive and engage with our content by leveraging your deep industry knowledge and creative flair.
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our Video Team, you will serve as the go-to resource for all things related to apps and games. Your responsibilities include researching current and upcoming titles, creating detailed documentation for our creative teams, capturing and editing gameplay footage, and supporting marketing campaigns with engaging video content. You will also educate and guide our creative staff by providing insights into gameplay mechanics, narrative elements, and visual storytelling techniques, ensuring our content accurately reflects the essence of each app or game.
Required Skills:
- Deep passion for and knowledge of apps and video games across mobile, PC, console, and VR platforms.
- Understanding of industry vocabulary, popular IP, trends, and history.
- Ability to explore and thoroughly learn any app or game, analyzing gameplay mechanics, story, characters, and art style.
- Proficiency in capturing gameplay footage for media use, including app demos, trailers, and store content.
- Strong skills in visual storytelling through cinematography and video editing.
- Experience with editing tools such as Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Premiere.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting concepts effectively via Keynote or similar platforms.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for iOS and MacOS devices.
- Strong collaborative spirit and the ability to work efficiently within a creative team.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $67.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
