Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain work method documentation including SOPs, job aids, and manuals
- Ensure documentation is field-ready, practical, and compliant with standards and safety policies
- Schedule and facilitate SME working sessions to gather operational insights
- Research and validate policies, materials, and technical information
- Collaborate with project stakeholders and support project timelines
- Perform on-site visits, conduct basic image editing, and work with media vendors
- Maintain existing documentation in response to standards changes, corrective actions, and new tools or processes
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of technical writing experience, or 3–5+ years with strong utility/industrial/field-operations exposure
- Proven experience producing technical or procedural documentation
- Ability to translate complex technical input into plain, field-usable language
- Strong facilitation, organizational, and writing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, photo editing software, SharePoint, OneDrive, Acrobat, Outlook, Teams, and Copilot
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $0.00 to $44.63 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
