Join our dynamic team as an Owned Social Strategist and become a key driver in crafting innovative social media strategies that connect one of the world’s most beloved brands with current and future audiences globally. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with creative and marketing leaders to develop insights-driven approaches, lead strategic initiatives, and elevate the brand’s presence across owned social platforms.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of strategic brand planning experience, with a deep understanding of marketing strategy, experience design, research, or brand communications
- Proven ability to simplify complex information into compelling narratives
- Expertise in developing and leading strategic conversations across diverse disciplines and organizational levels
- Strong relationships with creative teams across advertising, video, interactive, retail, and beyond
- Skillful in business and brand strategy, insights & research, media, and communications planning
- Exceptional visual storytelling, presentation, and writing skills
- Experience in creative advertising or design agencies with examples of briefs or case studies
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience specifically in social media strategy and digital content ecosystem
- Familiarity with cultural trend analysis and insight development
- Multilingual abilities and international market experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally within marketing, communications, or related fields
- A track record of leading strategic initiatives for brands with significant digital or social footprints
Other Requirements:
- Hybrid presence in Culver City, CA (onsite W-T-Th)
- Ability to travel if required for strategic projects or global initiatives
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60 to $70 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
