UX Designer (Order Fulfillment)
Location: Atlanta, GA (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: Contract through January 2027
Compensation: $50–60/hr W2
Overview
We are seeking a UX Designer to support a high-priority Order Fulfillment product used by store associates across a large retail enterprise. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys balancing data-driven decision making, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on UX execution.
You'll join an established product team focused on evolving and enhancing existing workflows that directly impact operational efficiency and the associate experience. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with users, engage in field research within retail environments, and influence product decisions through both customer insights and analytics.
What You'll Do
- Design and enhance mobile-first experiences used daily by store associates.
- Analyze product analytics, user feedback, and survey data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
- Partner with Product Managers, Researchers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions.
- Conduct and participate in user research activities, including in-store observations and associate interviews.
- Translate complex operational workflows into intuitive, efficient user experiences.
- Balance business goals, user needs, and technical constraints when making design recommendations.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Support ongoing optimization of existing features and workflows through iterative design improvements.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design experience.
- Experience designing mobile applications and responsive digital experiences.
- Strong proficiency with Figma.
- Experience leveraging user research, analytics, and customer feedback to inform design decisions.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and production-ready designs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within cross-functional product teams.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise, operational, logistics, supply chain, retail, or internal-facing applications.
- Experience working with product analytics platforms such as Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar tools.
- Experience conducting field research or contextual inquiry.
- Familiarity with data-driven design and experimentation methodologies.
- Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments with competing priorities.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving practical business problems, working closely with users, and using data to influence design decisions. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable diving into analytics, collaborating with stakeholders, and creating thoughtful UX solutions that improve day-to-day workflows for end users.
The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $50 to $60/hr.
