Community Manager I
Join our dynamic team as a Community Manager I and become the vital voice connecting brands with consumers across social media platforms. In this engaging role, you will manage owned social channels, foster authentic interactions, and humanize the company by building meaningful relationships with audiences. Your efforts will help shape brand perception, gather valuable feedback, and ensure an exceptional consumer experience—making a tangible impact in a fast-paced digital environment.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and actively engage with audiences on social media using management tools like Sprinklr
- Serve as the external voice of the company and brands, using culturally relevant, social-native commentaries
- Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams to support brand missions and maintain a consistent voice
- Develop and share best practices in social copywriting, content, and engagement strategies
- Monitor social media trends and emerging opportunities, contributing to content planning and activation
- Support the creation of FAQs, consumer responses, and content for ongoing brand campaigns
- Notify internal teams of potential risks or emerging issues in social channels and provide feedback to enhance consumer experience
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, PR, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven copywriting and editing skills specific to social media engagement and risk management
- 1-2 years of social media management experience, with familiarity in leveraging social media tools such as Sprinklr
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with reliable internet access
- Flexibility to work between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm CT, Monday through Friday, with minimal weekend coverage
Nice to Have Skills:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or French
- Childcare experience (personal or professional)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with relevant social media management experience
- Technical familiarity with social media management platforms and content creation tools
Other Requirements:
- Remote work capability with stable internet/Wi-Fi connection
- Availability to work within designated hours and support occasional weekend shifts if necessary

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
