TITLE: Coding Assistant Developer Support Analyst
LOCATION: Atlanta, Ga. 
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 09/21/2026 to 09/21/2029
Responsibilities:

  • Enable and guide developers in adopting and effectively using AI coding assistants.
  • Advocate for and promote coding-assistant tools used at helping developers understand their capabilities and incorporate them into workflows.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute reusable skills files and resources for the developer community.
  • Provide technical support and consultation to GitHub Copilot users, including assistance with access, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving authentication, authorization, platform integrations, and unexpected behavior.
  • Create and maintain technical content, including guidance, automation, and documentation in various formats.
  • Deliver onboarding, workshops, demonstrations, and coaching for development teams.
  • Support platform administration, including access management, policies, and feature enablement.
  • Promote responsible use of coding assistants, including security, IP considerations, and compliance.
  • Evaluate new platform features and conduct pilots, assessing risks and adoption strategies.
  • Monitor platform health, user feedback, and support trends to improve services and resources.
  • Support planning activities with estimates, risk assessments, and status updates.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of software development technologies, methodologies, and tools.
  • Practical experience using GitHub Copilot or comparable AI coding assistants in a professional setting.
  • Strong understanding of GitHub repositories, workflows, and developer tooling.
  • Ability to troubleshoot applications, IDEs, APIs, networks, and cloud services.
  • Capable of designing and maintaining reusable instructions, prompts, and configuration files.
  • Knowledge of application design principles, software architectures, and secure coding.
  • Ability to evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and security.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC practices, source control, and CI/CD.
  • Strong communication, technical writing, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and learn emerging technologies quickly.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, .NET, and Azure solutions.
  • Support or development experience with GitHub administration and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Development or troubleshooting of enterprise-grade software solutions.
  • Supporting developers across web, cloud, mobile, and data environments.
  • Developing reusable technical assets and managing shared repositories.
  • Supporting Agile/Scrum teams and leading technical initiatives.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00 to $84.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
