Overview
Join a team focused on developing integration and automation solutions that streamline engineering and validation workflows across multiple groups. In this type of role, you’ll build backend tools and services that automate test generation, improve requirements traceability, and optimize end-to-end team workflows leveraging generative AI and agentic systems to make complex processes faster, more consistent, and easier to scale.

What we typically look for (Required Skills)
  • Strong understanding of generative AI models, especially large language models (LLMs)
  • Experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems end-to-end
  • Familiarity with Agentic Development and related technologies (e.g., RAG, MCP)
  • Familiarity with AI-native workflow automation using skills-based systems
  • Proficiency building backend tools or automation services (Python preferred)
  • Experience integrating tools and/or databases via REST APIs and webhooks
  • Familiarity with structured document parsing (Word, PDF, XML, JSON, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
  • Understanding of requirements management and validation workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges

Typical Nice to Have Experience
  • Experience with NLP or text-processing automation
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Preferred Education and Experience
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 3 – 5 years building automation or integration tools in production environments

Typical Logistics (may vary by opening)
  • Onsite in San Diego, CA 92121
  • Contract: commonly 8 months, with potential extension

Compensation & Benefits
The hourly pay rate range for this type of position is typically $60.00 to $73.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
