Title: Technician II

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage a large-scale hardware rack testing environment for various firmware projects.
• Manage devices and fixtures that run on device clusters.
• Provide physical in-lab support to enable automated system testing on racks.
• Work with firmware and software engineering teams to set up test hardware configurations.
• Collaborate with test automation team in troubleshooting test environment issues and improving lab automations.

Requirements:

• 2 years of building and managing lab with devices.
• Technical support experience or equivalent working knowledge in computer hardware and networking.
• Experience in managing MacOS and iOS devices.
• Experience in automating device management using Python, bash, and Ansible.
• Strong in diagnosing and resolving system and user-level issues in MacOS, iOS, or Linux.
• A team-player in nature with good communications and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Work with customers and colleagues to identify and fix issues with hardware setups.
• Provide problem solving steps to resolve issues easily and effectively.
• Able to help assemble custom test fixtures.
• Creative problem solver able to figure out ways to get things done quickly, efficiently, and professionally.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $0.00 to $36.51 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
