Title: Software Engineer 
Location: Cupertino, CA (Remote but must be within 100 miles of Cupertino) 
Anticipated Duration: 6 months

Typical Pay: $80.00 to $86.00

What You’ll do as a Software Engineer: 

• Develop and implement front-end solutions on large web applications. 

• Build complete layouts in HTML / CSS with responsive breakpoints based on mockups. 

• Work with high-performance and distributed backend systems. 

• Use JavaScript, React, Redux, NodeJS, and modern web development tools. 

• Demonstrate strong understanding of software development fundamentals. 

• Collaborate effectively through strong verbal and written communication skills. 

Software Engineer Requirements: 

• 5+ years of software development experience on large web applications. 

• Proficiency with JavaScript, CSS, ES6+, NodeJS, React, Redux. 

• Experience with HTML5 architecture, CSS Frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap), and preprocessors (e.g., Sass). 

• Good grasp of functional programming design patterns. 

• Experience with Git. 

• Strong general computer science knowledge. 

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript ecosystem and full-stack development. 

Software Engineer Preferred Experience: 

• Experience working in an agile environment. 

• Building layouts for mobile devices and touch interfaces. 

• Experience planning, testing, and releasing features or products. 

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker. 

• Knowledge of relational and graph databases, query optimization. 

• Experience with PHP, Angular, Vue, Ember, Typescript, GraphQL. 

• Infrastructure as code, log monitoring, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes experience. 

• Blockchain project experience. 

• Remote work experience preferred, with onsite expectations being remote within 100 miles of CUP. 
   

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $86.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
