UX Engineer
Overview
We’re looking for a UX Engineer who loves turning fuzzy, early-stage ideas into tangible experiences. In this role, you’ll rapidly prototype interactive concepts that help teams explore the future of user-facing products—then use what you learn to influence direction, unlock new possibilities, and accelerate decision-making. You’ll also develop AI-powered internal tools that improve workflows and bring emerging capabilities to life through hands-on experimentation and thoughtful execution.
Required Skills

5+ years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, UX engineering, or prototyping

Strong ability to build interactive prototypes using code (not just mockups)

Demonstrated success working in ambiguous problem spaces and creating structure/direction

Comfort operating at multiple fidelities: quick experiments through more durable prototypes
Solid collaboration skills with product/design/engineering partners, and a people-first mindset
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience conducting or supporting user testing, synthesizing feedback, and iterating quickly

Hands-on exposure to AI/LLMs, generative AI, or AI-enabled interfaces (experimentation encouraged)

Familiarity with prototyping across modalities (e.g., interaction patterns, workflows, internal tools)
Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in a related field such as HCI, Design, Computer Science, or a similar discipline

Experience partnering closely with UX/Product Design teams to translate concepts into working experiences

Portfolio demonstrating prototype-driven exploration (especially in early product discovery)

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $115.00 to $120.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
