Category Data Analyst
TITLE: Category Data Analyst
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (hybrid, on-site 4 days a week)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Support the Category Management group in analyzing data and developing category strategies.
- Gather necessary data and complete the spend analysis.
- Develop and update baseline using category data.
- Conduct supply market analysis and evaluate sourcing models.
- Develop negotiation models and supplier performance metrics.
- Monitor supplier performance solutions.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have an engineering or finance background.
- Strong analytics skills are required.
- An undergraduate degree in a technical or business discipline, or its equivalent, is desired.
- Industry-specific experience within the rail industry is preferred, and experience with analytics and visualization solutions such as PowerBI, Tableau, Python, QlikView, Alteryx, or SQL is advantageous.
- Competency in written and oral communication, project management, analytical and problem-solving, and financial acumen is required.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $50.00 to $65.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
