DevSecOps Engineer
TITLE: DevSecOps Engineer
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 2-3 year W2 Contract
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for Azure and on-prem environments
- Integrate security tools and controls into CI/CD workflows
- Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
- Support application deployments using containerization and cloud-native technologies
- Monitor application performance and scalability using tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Implement and manage authentication and security controls (SSO, OAuth, OpenID, etc.)
- Contribute to roadmap planning and evaluation of new DevSecOps tools and technologies
- Provide guidance on environment provisioning for production and non-production systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience in C#
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience with deployment automation, orchestration, and configuration management
- Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in Azure (cloud + on-prem hybrid environments)
- Experience with containerization and automated deployment pipelines
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalability, and monitoring
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with application security, penetration testing, or red teaming
- Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices
- Familiarity with cloud-native authentication (OAuth, OpenID, SSO)
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and distributed systems
- Background in building large-scale web applications
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $85.00 to $110.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
