TITLE: DevSecOps Engineer

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL

ANTICIPATED DURATION: 2-3 year W2 Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for Azure and on-prem environments
  • Integrate security tools and controls into CI/CD workflows
  • Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
  • Support application deployments using containerization and cloud-native technologies
  • Monitor application performance and scalability using tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights
  • Implement and manage authentication and security controls (SSO, OAuth, OpenID, etc.)
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and evaluation of new DevSecOps tools and technologies
  • Provide guidance on environment provisioning for production and non-production systems

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience in C#
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Experience with deployment automation, orchestration, and configuration management
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in Azure (cloud + on-prem hybrid environments)
  • Experience with containerization and automated deployment pipelines
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalability, and monitoring

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with application security, penetration testing, or red teaming
  • Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices
  • Familiarity with cloud-native authentication (OAuth, OpenID, SSO)
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture and distributed systems
  • Background in building large-scale web applications
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $85.00 to $110.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
