As a Lab Technician, you will be the backbone of our testing environment, ensuring equipment is maintained, data is accurately collected, and standards are upheld—all while working closely with engineers and customers to deliver reliable results. Bring your technical skills, creativity, and proactive mindset to a role that makes a difference in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Required Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and signal generators
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical component installation
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, verbal communication)
- Capable of multitasking, managing time efficiently, and working independently
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with test automation and data collection processes
- Knowledge of Unix/Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals
- Soldering and reworking SMT, through-hole, and fine-pitch components
- Experience with environmental chamber operation
- Familiarity with enterprise switches and routers
- Ability to set up various cable connectivity types
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, or
- 4+ years of equivalent experience in a laboratory, customer service within a data center environment, or as a field service technician
Other Requirements:
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs of equipment
- Willingness to perform routine calibration, maintenance, and inventory checks
- Ability to perform electro-mechanical repairs and troubleshooting with minimal supervision
- Adherence to ESD protocols and safety standards

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $35.00 to $45.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
