Mutual Funds Specialist
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance and a knack for analytical problem-solving? Join us as a Mutual Funds Specialist and play a vital role in managing and processing client accounts with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure seamless account operations, impactful client interactions, and adherence to regulatory standards, all within a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you'll process new accounts, handle purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance, while responding to shareholder inquiries via phone and email. Your keen attention to detail, combined with strong critical thinking and analytical skills, will be the driving force behind accurate trade processing, dividend calculations, and account reconciliations.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting (especially during peak periods like tax season)
- Clear and concise written communication, with effective email and comment documentation skills
- Calmness and composure in stressful situations
- Strong vetting skills to ensure candidate suitability based on practical competency
- Advanced analytical thinking and application of learned skills
- Competency with mathematical and computer tools
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience interpreting and applying client/fund information and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to multitask in dynamic environments with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant financial or related college coursework preferred
- Prior experience in mutual funds, account servicing, or financial operations highly advantageous
- Proven ability to perform analytical tasks and handle complex data accurately

- Ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure during busy periods

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $25.00 to $31.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
