TITLE: Photo Editor III

LOCATION: Remote

ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 02/10/2026 to 08/10/2026

Responsibilities:

  • Seek out, identify, and license compelling images and video for features.
  • Brainstorm, coordinate, and collaborate with team members to synthesize creative input into visual solutions.
  • Conceptualize and create content experiences for media products.
  • Support photography and video needs for the creative team.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to visually enrich user experience.
  • Manage photo research and licensing processes efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant photo editing or multimedia experience in a creatively driven environment.
  • Deep understanding of editorial storytelling.
  • Broad knowledge of photographers across many genres including portraiture, documentary, conceptual, fine art, and others.
  • Familiarity with sources for photography such as syndication agencies, wires, stock houses, museums, and galleries.
  • Knowledge of image rights, likeness restrictions, contract negotiation, and legal clearance processes for licensed content.
  • Clear and concise communicator.
  • Highly collaborative and relationship-oriented.

Preferred Experience:

  • Portfolio showcasing exceptional talent in delivering top-tier photo research.
  • Degree in BS/BA Art, Photography, Art History, or Communication preferred.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40.00 to $57.46 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
