Software Engineer III
TITLE: Software Engineer III
LOCATION: Hybrid – San Jose, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 06/18/2026 to 12/14/2026
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend data processing pipelines that move device system-health signals from service logs into usable datasets
- Create aggregated and enriched datasets to support debugging, analysis, and product health evaluation
- Develop internal tools for debugging and analysis based on processed telemetry data
- Support alerting and monitoring to surface and triage device/system health issues
- Contribute to visualization tools and AI agents to help accelerate debugging and triage
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to validate and improve the solutions being built
- Enable developers, TPMs, and PMs with insights and tooling to evaluate product health and prioritize fixes
Requirements:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on coding and backend development experience
- Experience or strong interest in data processing and data pipeline/platform development
- Java experience supporting data processing technologies and pipelines
- Ability to design and build systems and tools that support debugging, triage, and analysis workflows
- Must be a software engineer focused on development (not a pure data engineer profile)
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineers and product/technical stakeholders
Preferred Experience:
- Python experience (helpful for AI agents and platform development)
- Microservices experience
- Experience with agentic AI / AI agents or related tooling
- Experience building visualization, monitoring, or observability-related tools
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $113.40 to $131.91 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
