TITLE: Sr Software Engineer
LOCATION: Atlanta, Georgia
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 01/05/2026 to 06/30/2026
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to plan, develop, and deliver high-quality technical solutions within sprint timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and business requirements.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, diagnosing and resolving production issues with a sense of urgency and commitment to service reliability.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and support to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Actively contribute to a culture of innovation by sharing best practices, proposing improvements, and encouraging open communication and collaboration across teams.
- Identify and test new approaches, tools, or solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional business stakeholders.
- Take product ownership or accountability for business outcomes, understanding stakeholder responsibilities.
- Participate in test-driven development environments or cultures that prioritize iterative testing and feedback loops.
- Follow Agile or Lean principles, with experience in Agile ceremonies and delivery cycles preferred.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years experience in a related field, or alternative combinations as specified.
- Proficiency with Java stack: Maven, Spring Boot, Junit or other testing tools, JMeter or similar load testing tools, and key libraries for REST or GraphQL development.
- Proficiency with Javascript stack: Javascript, TypeScript, React preferred, VSCode tooling.
- Experience with development tools and deployment pipelines: git, GitHub Enterprise, unit and integration testing, load testing, curl, postman, Terraform, Cloud Formation, containers.
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred, GCP, Azure): automated provisioning, account management, serverless tooling, API deployment, load balancing, security.
- Database experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DocumentDB, DynamoDB or Cassandra.
- Experience with AI tools, including understanding their operation, benefits, and current limitations.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00 to $70.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
