AI Software Engineer
TITLE: AI Software Engineer
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA | Dallas, TX | Phoenix, AZ | Bloomington, IL (Open to candidates within a 180-mile radius of these hubs)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 03/30/2026 to 12/31/2026
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, manage, and implement GenAI solutions
- Design, build, and manage agent-to-agent and MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers
- Integrate LLMs into production systems through APIs, pipelines, and workflows
- Partner with data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to strategic AI initiatives and roadmap development
- Design and build reliable REST APIs
- Support deployment, monitoring, reliability, performance, and security of AI-driven solutions in cloud environments
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of software engineering experience across backend, platform, or full-stack environments
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into production systems
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with AWS Bedrock and AgentCore
- Working knowledge of RAG, vector databases, and modern LLM application patterns
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/Fargate, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, and Amazon OpenSearch for vector search
- Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications
- Experience building REST APIs and distributed systems
- Basic understanding of insurance products supported by the business
- Familiarity with AI security risks such as prompt injection and data leakage
Preferred Experience:
- Additional experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go
- Front-end experience with React, Next.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive UI design
- Proven experience delivering production services on AWS
- Fintech or payments experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00 to $70.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
